On June 18, 2025, Light Manipulation and Applications (LMA), an open-access journal dedicated to the science and applications of light, officially established a strategic partnership with Shandong Normal University (SDNU), becoming its designated Home Journal.

As a co-branded publication between Science Exploration Press and SDNU, this partnership marks an important milestone in the development of LMA in the fields of optics, photonics, and light-based technologies. Together, both parties aim to promote cutting-edge research, academic excellence, and global collaboration.
