To promote academic exchange at the intersection of ageing and cancer research and to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among scientists worldwide, Ageing and Cancer Research & Treatment (ACRT) officially launched the ACRT Frontiers Forum - "Decoding Ageing, Decoding Cancer", a new international webinar series dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge discoveries and facilitating high-level scientific discussion across the fields of ageing biology, cancer research, and healthy longevity.

The inaugural webinar was successfully held on July 15, 2026, attracting researchers and scholars from around the world to participate in this first academic gathering.

The Editorial Office was honored to invite Dr. Yu-Xuan Lyu (Southern University of Science and Technology, China) as the inaugural keynote speaker. Dr. Lyu delivered an insightful presentation entitled "Accelerating Gerotherapeutic Discovery: High-Throughput Screening, AI, and the Future of Healthy Longevity", highlighting recent advances in high-throughput screening, artificial intelligence-enabled drug discovery, and precision gerotherapeutic interventions. The lecture also explored future opportunities for accelerating translational research in healthy ageing.

The webinar was moderated by Dr. Ting Ni (Fudan University, China), who guided the scientific discussion and facilitated interactions throughout the event.

To further encourage academic exchange, the forum featured a dedicated panel discussion bringing together four distinguished experts actively working at the forefront of ageing research:

• Dr. Yang Li (Institute of Metabolism and Integrative Biology, Fudan University)

Drawing upon their diverse expertise in ageing biology, metabolism, multi-omics, bioinformatics, and translational medicine, the panelists engaged in an in-depth discussion with Dr. Lyu on emerging challenges, technological innovation, and future directions in gerotherapeutic discovery. Their insightful perspectives further enriched the scientific exchange and stimulated active engagement from the online audience.

The launch of the ACRT Frontiers Forum represents another important step in ACRT's commitment to building an open and internationally connected academic community.
