On December 4, 2025, the inaugural online Editorial Board Meeting of Ageing and Cancer Research & Treatment (ACRT) was successfully held, marking a significant milestone in the journal's development. The meeting was chaired by Rachel, Associate Publisher of Science Exploration Press and Managing Editor of ACRT. Editors-in-Chief Prof. Xingzhi Xu and Prof. Baohua Liu delivered opening remarks, warmly welcoming the newly appointed board members and presenting the journal‘s founding mission and long-term vision.

The 16th International Symposium on DNA Damage Response & Human Disease (isDDRHD-2025) was successfully held in Qingdao, China, from October 17 to 20, 2025. Hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Technology at Shandong University, the symposium brought together world-leading experts and young investigators to discuss the latest advances in DNA damage response (DDR), genomic stability, ageing, and cancer. On June 17, 2025, the Editorial Office of Ageing and Cancer Research & Treatment (ACRT) had the honor of interviewing Professor Hans-Georg Rammensee, a distinguished Advisory Editor of the journal and a globally recognized expert in tumor immunology from the University of Tübingen, Germany.

On April 25, 2025, Ageing and Cancer Research & Treatment (ACRT) held its held its first webinar, titled "Immunosuppressive Tumor Microenvironment Mediated by Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells and their Targeting". The event drew over 13,000 international viewers, underscoring the growing interest in this critical area of cancer research.

On February 19, 2025, the Editorial Office of Ageing and Cancer Research & Treatment (ACRT) had the honor of interviewing Professor Per Thor Straten, Co-Editor-in-Chief of ACRT and a distinguished expert in tumor immunology at Herlev University Hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark. During the interview, Prof. Thor Straten shared valuable insights into his career, the future of T-cell-based immunotherapies, and his vision for the journal.
