Chiral Chemistry Awards Launched: Recognizing Excellence in Chiral Science and Academic Contributions
To promote research in chiral chemistry and related interdisciplinary fields, Chiral Chemistry has established an annual award program featuring two categories - the Chiral Excellence Award and the Editorial Contribution Award - to recognize outstanding scientific contributions and encourage high-quality research and academic exchange.
Chiral Excellence Award
This award recognizes outstanding papers published in Chiral Chemistry and honors the authors for their exceptional contributions to chiral science.
Eligibility Criteria
• Eligible papers include all types of articles published in Chiral Chemistry.
• The evaluation period covers papers published within the two calendar years preceding the award year.
• Authors must comply with accepted standards of research integrity and have no confirmed record of research misconduct.
Evaluation Criteria
• Scientific significance and contribution to the field
• Innovation and originality
• Rigor of research design and methodology
• Clarity and quality of presentation
• Academic impact, including citations, downloads, readership, and peer-review evaluations
Selection Process
• The inaugural award will be launched in 2027, covering papers published during 2025-2026.
• The award will be evaluated annually thereafter.
• The Editorial Office conducts initial screening, followed by comprehensive evaluation by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.
• Results will be announced each May.
• The number of awardees will be determined annually based on the quality of eligible papers; the award may be withheld if no paper meets the selection criteria.

• Priority invitations to Chiral Chemistry conferences, forums, and thematic academic events
• APC support: a 50% discount on APCs for up to two future submissions (once applicable)

Chiral Chemistry Editorial Contribution Award
This award recognizes Editorial Board Members and Youth Editorial Board Members who have made significant contributions to the development of Chiral Chemistry, including academic leadership, manuscript solicitation, peer review, and scientific dissemination.
Evaluation Criteria
• Contribution to manuscript submissions and high-quality paper invitations.
• Academic dissemination and journal promotion through conferences, lectures, and digital platforms.
• Participation in journal development, including organizing special issues, peer review, editorial activities, and other initiatives that support the growth of the journal.
• Promotion of collaboration and exchange between Chiral Chemistry and national and international conferences, academic societies, and professional organizations.
Selection Process
• The award is evaluated annually based on contributions from the preceding year;
• The number of recipients is determined based on the overall evaluation outcome; awards may be withheld if no suitable candidates are identified;
• The Editorial Office conducts the evaluation based on contribution records, with final approval by the Editor-in-Chief;
• Results will be announced each March.

Award Policies
• In principle, each scholar may receive only one award per year.
• When candidates qualify for multiple awards, the Editorial Committee will determine the final allocation based on contribution type and award category.
• Priority will be given to scholars with sustained engagement in journal development and academic dissemination.
• All awards are selected through a fair and transparent evaluation process conducted by the Editorial Office of Chiral Chemistry.
• Chiral Chemistry reserves the right to make the final interpretation of these award policies.
