Chiral Chemistry Successfully Holds Its First Editorial Board Meeting
On August 28, 2026, Chiral Chemistry successfully held its first Editorial Board Meeting online. Editor-in-Chief Professor Xingwei Li, Editorial Board members, Young Editorial Board members, and representatives of the editorial office gathered to review the journal's progress and exchange views on its future development.
The meeting began with brief introductions from the participating Board members, who shared their research interests and areas of expertise, providing an opportunity to strengthen communication and mutual understanding.
Professor Xingwei Li thanked the Board members for their continued support of Chiral Chemistry and emphasized their important role in maintaining academic quality and supporting the journal’s development. He also reviewed the journal’s recent progress and highlighted priorities for the next stage, including attracting high-quality contributions, expanding its academic reach, and strengthening its international presence.
Ivy Li, Managing Editor of Chiral Chemistry, briefly introduced Science Exploration Press, and its publishing development.
During the discussion, Board members shared suggestions on the journal's scope and content, international engagement, Board development, and academic outreach. Particular attention was given to attracting high-quality manuscripts, engaging early-career researchers, and exploring emerging and interdisciplinary areas related to chirality.
The meeting provided valuable input for the journal’s future development. Moving forward, Chiral Chemistry will continue to work closely with its Editorial Board and the wider research community to strengthen its academic quality, international engagement, and scholarly communication in chiral science.
