Smart Materials and Devices sponsored ICPP 14 "Artificial photosynthetic systems"
Smart Materials and Devices is proud to sponsor the Artificial Photosynthetic Systems symposium at the 14th International Conference on Porphyrins & Phthalocyanines (ICPP-14), to be held in Kyoto, Japan, from June 28 to July 3, 2026. During the conference, Prof. Dirk M. Guldi, Prof. Ángela Sastre Santos and Prof. Francis D' Souza, introduced the journal's latest developments and future directions through an academic presentation and interactive sessions.
To further foster the continued growth and visibility of this rapidly evolving field, Prof. Guldi, Prof. Sastre Santos, and Prof. D'Souza are jointly organizing a Special Issue entitled "Artificial Photosynthetic Systems and Light-Driven Functional Materials" We warmly invite researchers and experts in the field to follow its progress and consider contributing their latest research and insights in support of this exciting initiative.

Conference Introduction

Artificial Photosynthetic Systems is one of the featured symposia of the 14th International Conference on Porphyrins & Phthalocyanines (ICPP-14), which will be held in Kyoto, Japan, from June 28 to July 3, 2026. As one of the premier international conferences dedicated to porphyrins, phthalocyanines, and related functional macrocycles, ICPP-14 brings together leading researchers from academia and industry to present the latest advances in the field. This symposium will highlight recent developments in artificial photosynthetic systems, with particular emphasis on solar energy conversion, photocatalysis, energy storage, sustainable chemistry, photoactive molecular materials, and device engineering. It will provide an international platform for discussing emerging concepts, technological innovations, and future opportunities in artificial photosynthesis and solar fuel research.
