From October 11 to 14, 2025, the Thermo-X editorial team participated in the 9th Workshop on Thermal Transport (WTT2025), held in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. The event brought together leading experts and scholars in thermal science to discuss the latest research trends and technological advances in the field.

During the conference, the Thermo-X editorial team actively engaged with attendees at our booth (Booth No. 4), introducing the journal’s scope, recent achievements, and future plans. The booth attracted considerable interest from researchers across the field, fostering lively discussions on current trends in thermal science and potential contributions to the journal.

On October 13, a mini Editorial Board Meeting was held during the conference. The editorial team presented updates on the journal’s recent progress, development goals, and upcoming initiatives. Board Members contributed insightful suggestions on the journal’s positioning, development strategies, and long-term vision. The Thermo-X team sincerely appreciates their continuous support and constructive feedback.

WTT2025 (https://conferences.koushare.com/WTT2025) was organized by the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Physical Society and co-hosted by the School of Science at the National University of Defense Technology and the School of Physics and Microelectronics at Hunan University. Featuring plenary lectures, invited talks, oral presentations, and poster sessions, the workshop offered a vibrant platform for scholars to discuss cutting-edge research and future directions in thermal science. Since its inception in 2016, WTT has been successfully hosted by leading institutions across China.
