Dr. Xiangyu Kong is currently a professor at the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (TIPC). In 2014, he received his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences in Prof. Wei-Jun Zheng's group. Then, he started his postdoc research at TIPC in Prof. Lei Jiang and Prof. Liping Wen's group. His research interests include external field-regulated ion transport in confined bioinspired channels and the potential applications in the fields of ionic energy conversion, key element separation and enrichment, and ionic signal transduction. He has published more than 150 papers, including Nat. Water, Nat. Commun., PNAS, Sci. Adv., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., etc., H-index of 53.
