Prof. Liangqiu Lu is a Professor and doctoral supervisor at Central China Normal University. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Central China Normal University in 2005 and 2011, respectively, and conducted postdoctoral research at the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis in Germany under Prof. Matthias Beller. He was promoted to Professor in 2015. He has received numerous honors, including the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award, Thieme Chemistry Journals Award, Hubei Provincial Natural Science First Prize, and the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, and has been recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher both in China and globally. He serves as a consultant or editorial board member for several journals and organizations, including Chiral Chemistry.
His research focuses on green synthesis and asymmetric catalysis, with particular interests in visible-light-induced organic photochemical synthesis and metal-catalyzed dipolar cycloaddition reactions.
