Special Issue Information
The intricate network of DNA damage response (DDR) pathways plays a pivotal role in preserving genomic integrity. Dysfunctions in DDR mechanisms are tightly linked to carcinogenesis, aging, and other human diseases. The 16th International Symposium on DNA Damage Response and Human Diseases (isDDRHD-2025) gathered leading researchers and clinicians worldwide to present cutting-edge findings in DDR signaling, DNA repair pathways, translational applications, and therapeutic innovations.
This Special Issue aims to compile selected contributions from isDDRHD-2025, spotlighting breakthroughs in basic research, translational insights, and clinical strategies related to DNA damage responses and associated human diseases. Importantly, this Special Issue not only features selected papers from isDDRHD-2025, but also welcomes high-quality contributions from the wider scientific community working on DNA damage, repair mechanisms, aging, and cancer.
All submissions will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process and should align with its Aims & Scope.
