Recently, BME Horizon (BMEH) has established a strategic conference partnership with the EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organization) and the EMBL (European Molecular Biology Laboratory), two leading institutions in the global life sciences community. As part of this collaboration, BMEH will be featured at several EMBO/EMBL scientific conferences in 2026, increasing the journal’s visibility in the field of biomedical engineering.

September 19, 2025, Stanford University, in collaboration with Elsevier, officially released the latest edition of the World’s Top 2% Scientists List (2025). This prestigious ranking is derived from citation data in the Scopus database and assessed using six key indicators: total citations, Hirsch H-index, Schreiber Hm-index (adjusted for co-authorship), citations to single-authored papers, citations to single- or first-authored papers, and citations to single, first-, or corresponding-authored papers.

The 4^th World Congress of Biopharm Industry Development 2025 was recently held in Fengxian District, Shanghai, China. At the conference, Professor Xiangdong Xue from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Junior Executive Editor of BME Horizon(BMEH), presented the journal’s latest developments during an academic exchange session. In addition, the Special Issue “Nanomaterials for Advanced Molecular Imaging in Oncology”, which he organized in BMEH , was showcased to highlight the latest advances in nanomaterials for cancer imaging.

The 2025 KSBM Fall Meeting was recently held in Busan, South Korea. During the conference, Professor Congcong Xu from Soochow University, Junior Executive Editor of BME Horizon, introduced the journal’s latest developments and future directions through an academic presentation and interactive sessions.

At the recently concluded 7^th International Congress on Advanced Materials Sciences and Engineering 2025 (AMSE2025) in Kraków, Poland, Professor Amir Fahmi from Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences highlighted and endorsed BME Horizon during his keynote presentation.

In alignment with the 2025 development strategy and in response to the accelerating advances in biomedical engineering and its interdisciplinary frontiers, BME Horizon (BMEH)is expanding its Youth Editorial Board to further engage emerging global talents. we are honored to extend a cordial invitation for you to join the Youth Editorial Board of BMEH.

On July 14 and July 19, 2025, BME Horizon (BMEH) convened its first Editorial Board meetings for the China region in two sessions, with a total of 24 Board Members in attendance. The meetings served as a platform for academic exchange and strategic planning aimed at strengthening the journal’s editorial direction and enhancing its academic impact.

On July 12, 2025, BME Horizon (BMEH) successfully held a Strategic Editorial Board Meeting at the Shanghai Platinum Hanjue Hotel. The meeting was chaired by the Editor-in-Chief Prof. Buyong Ma and brought together seven Editorial Board Members from leading universities and research institutions across China to discuss the BMEH journal’s current progress and future development strategies.
