The 3rd Annual Meeting of the Cell Death Biology Branch of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology was successfully held in Hefei, China, from November 18-21, 2025. Bringing together leading experts and early-career researchers from across China, the meeting showcased the latest advances in cell death mechanisms, disease relevance, and emerging technologies in the field.

We are proud to share that in the recently released 2025 World’s Top 2% Scientists List by Stanford University and Elsevier, 26 members of the Ferroptosis and Oxidative Stress (FOS) Editorial Board have been selected for the Single-Year Impact list (84% of the Board), while 18 members have been recognized in the Career-Long Impact list (58% of the Board).

We are pleased to announce that Ferroptosis and Oxidative Stress, an open-access journal published by Science Exploration Press has officially partnered with the Cell Death Biology Branch of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology.

On April 15, 2025, Science Exploration Press is pleased to announce the official launch of its new open-access journal, Ferroptosis and Oxidative Stress (FOS). FOS is a peer-reviewed journal focusing on the mechanisms and functions of ferroptosis and oxidative stress in health and disease. The journal provides a platform for high-quality research and reviews in areas such as lipid peroxidation, iron metabolism, redox signaling, antioxidant defenses, and their roles in cancer, neurodegeneration, inflammation, and aging.
