On October 7, 2026, the latest version of the Updated Science-Wide Author Databases of Standardized Citation Indicators, developed by a research team led by Professor John P. A. Ioannidis of Stanford University, was released.

Based on data from Scopus, the database evaluates researchers' scientific citation impact using a composite citation indicator (c-score), which incorporates several metrics, including total citations, the h-index, the co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and citation indicators reflecting authorship positions.

The database covers 20 major scientific fields and 174 subfields and provides two categories of rankings: Career-long Scientific Impact and Single-year Scientific Impact.

In the latest release, 53 members of the Thermo-X Editorial Board and 9 members of the Young Editorial Board were included in the World's Top 2% Scientists list.

We also express our sincere respect and appreciation for their longstanding dedication to scientific research and their tireless pursuit of scientific excellence.
