On July 12, 2025, BME Horizon (BMEH) successfully held a Strategic Editorial Board Meeting at the Shanghai Platinum Hanjue Hotel. The meeting was chaired by the Editor-in-Chief Prof. Buyong Ma and brought together seven Editorial Board Members from leading universities and research institutions across China to discuss the BMEH journal’s current progress and future development strategies.

During the meeting, the Editor-in-Chief and Board Members engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics, including:
• How to further enhance the journal’s academic influence
• How to build a stable and high-quality source of submissions
• How Editorial Board Members can better contribute to academic co-construction

Board Members shared their insights based on their academic backgrounds and editorial experiences. They unanimously agreed that BMEH should continue to uphold its content-driven, impact-focused editorial philosophy, promote the dissemination of cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, and build a high-level, international academic platform.

This meeting not only strengthened communication among Editorial Board Members but also fostered consensus for the journal’s future direction. The Editorial Office will carefully incorporate the feedback and suggestions into its workflow and looks forward to continued close collaboration with the Editorial Board to jointly promote the journal’s high-quality development in the coming stages.
