Advances in Lipoprotein(a) Research (ALR), the first open access journal exclusively dedicated to Lipoprotein(a), was officially introduced to the international lipidology community during the 4th World Congress of Clinical Lipidology, held in Vienna, Austria from June 27 to 29, 2025.

We are delighted to announce the official launch of Advances in Lipoprotein(a) Research (ALR), a new open access journal published by Science Exploration Press that is exclusively dedicated to Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]—one of the most important yet understudied cardiovascular risk factors in modern medicine.
